Ariel Israel

Sasha G., Director

Who we are:

We are Israeli local Messianic believers, who have a passion to share God's love with their own people and with local un-reached people groups.

Ariel IsraelWe speak three languages – Russian, Hebrew and English, which allows us to reach the majority of the people of the international Israeli society.

We immigrated to Israel twenty-two years ago, which helps us enormously to understand those who immigrated from the former Soviet Union, as well as the native born Israelis people who are called Sabras (locals, born-in-Israel). All three of our children were born in Israel.

We live among the Israeli people and as a result we endure the same political and economical challenges as they do. We have lived through three wars while living in the nation of Israel (two Gulf wars and one Lebanon war). Served in the Israeli army and completed service at forty years old.

We initially volunteered our ministerial services in 1995 and have been involved in full-time ministry since 2001.

Our vision:

Evangelism — to share the Good News among the Hebrew and Russian-speaking Jewish people. Today, the population of Russian speakers in Israel is approximately 1.5 million people. If we include the immigrants that arrived in the 1970's, it’s over 17% of the Israeli population.

Discipleship — The Lord has put it deep in our hearts to equip and encourage young believers in their daily faithful walk with the Lord. We strongly believe that in order to be effective, we must train and educate these new believers with the knowledge of God’s Word. Our vision is to teach and train them so they can go and be a strong witness in their immediate environment: families, co-workers, neighbors, and etc.

Counseling — to help people to understand the Biblical perspective of the suffering, tests and trials in our fallen world.

In practice:

Relational evangelism

Relational EvangelismOur youngest child was diagnosed with autism at two years of age. In the midst of this tragedy, we have met more than sixty other caregivers and have established warm personal relationships with them. Over a long term, we have shared the Good News of Yeshua Messiah with these young, Hebrew speaking Israeli people in a very natural way. The Lord has enabled us to find creative and sensitive ways to share the Gospel. In fact, it has been said to us many times that all of the people who have come to care for our daughter have themselves felt cared for and nurtured. It is this unique opportunity that the Lord has given to us as we have needed to minister to our daughter.

The Lord had built into our family ministry His focus. He has blessed us with daily opportunities to share the Gospel, without leaving our home, and faithfully gives us the words and skills to bring the Good News to people He places in our path. We consider that to be the greatest gift given to us through our precious child. In retrospect, we can see how the Lord prepared us for ministry by the various experiences and training we received.

Everlasting Arms – Messianic counseling center

Shepherd's Heart MinistryWe are graduates of Israel College of the Bible (I.C.B.) with a M.A. in Messianic Counseling and serve as team members at the Messianic Counseling Center.

Shepherd's Heart Ministry

Our counseling ministry is dedicated to reaching out to pastors (elders) and ministry leaders, who are hurting, have marriages in turmoil, families that are struggling to stay together, tempted with moral failure, and experience burn out due to lack of boundaries and surreal expectations from their congregation.

Your partnership, love, prayers and support empower us to: lovingly and patiently communicate the Gospel with the lost sheep of the House of Israel, teach the Scriptures effectively from the proper Jewish perspective and reach out to leaders hand-in-hand as we serve together our Messiah Yeshua, Jesus the Christ.

If you are led of the Lord to contribute to the ministry, you may do the following:
