Dear Bible Student,

In 1978, Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum began the process of making disciples out of a small group of men in San Antonio, Texas. The complex sounding subjects of Bibliology, Theology Proper, Christology, Pnuematology, Soteriology, Anthropology, Hamartiology, and Angelology were intimidating to most of us. But over the three-year period of study through hours of exploration and discussion, the Bible was opened up to me in ways I could never have dreamed of. Now, over 25 years later, the concepts that I learned from Arnold are the foundational building blocks of my overall understanding of how to read, interpret, and apply the Bible in all areas of life. Of course, all of these subjects were presented through the lens of Jewish history, culture, and geography, which are the hallmark of Ariel’s worldwide teaching ministry.

As rewarding as it was for me to learn under this disciplined approach, there has been a by-product even more exciting. Through the years, I have taught many others the things I was first taught by Dr. Fruchtenbaum. There has been no greater thrill than knowing that God has used me to instill a love for the disciplined study of the Scriptures in the lives of other young disciples.

By taking these courses in their proper order, I was prepared to teach God’s Word with authority. Constantly, throughout Yeshua’s (Jesus) ministry, admirers and critics alike asked… “Where did He get His authority to teach in this manner?” The Hebrew word for authority in this context is s’mikhah. What they were asking is, “who did He study with that taught Him these concepts, who laid hands on Him to authorize this ministry?”

The Lord has blessed Ariel with Dr. Fruchtenbaum, an authoritative teacher of the Bible. Now Ariel is looking for a new generation of serious students of God’s Word who are willing to join us in making disciples in the fashion of Jesus, the most effective disciple maker of all time.
