Ariel Ministries: Camp Shoshanah Expansion Project Phases

Ariel's Camp Shoshanah is an important place of ministry. It will be even more so as we complete these carefully planned building project phases over the next few years. New and improved facilities will enable us to dramatically increase the number of people we can accommodate on site.

PHASE 1: Garage and Workroom Complex, Wood Shop, Mobile Construction Office, Dining Hall Complex Foundations and Exterior Shell - $400K

On the final Friday of camp 2006, campers stood upon the freshly poured foundation of the new Carl and Dorothea Starks Dining Hall and formed a prayer circle to offer heartfelt thanks to the Lord for His provision.

Take a moment and enjoy the Phase 1 slideshow. The Dining Hall Complex is now totally enclosed, sheathed, and roofed.

PHASE 2: Dining Hall Complex Interior Finishout and Furnishings - $700K

Funding for this next critical phase will allow us to install the plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, finish interior walls, lay carpeting, and outfit the new kitchen to make the Dining Hall fully functional.

We need your help for this phase. Our prayer is that we will have the financial resources to complete this phase of our expansion plans by the 2008 camp season... without borrowing money to do so.

PHASE 3: Two New Bunkhouses, Lecture Hall Bathroom Addition - $300K

A new bunkhouse for the ladies first, and then for the men too is sorely needed. We must increase and improve Shoshanah's permanent sheltered camping capacity. The Lecture Hall is fairly new and quite adequate but it needs an attached bathroom facility. Right now, at study break campers have to make a quick dash across the campgrounds to distant facilities, and this can sometimes be a muddy proposition on a rainy day!
