Instructional Overview

Saint Peter's FishFifty of Dr. Fruchtenbaum's classic Messianic Bible Studies have been carefully selected and freely provided in this resource so that students of the Bible may gain a broad based overview of critical theological subjects. Studied in the progressive topical fashion presented, each lesson contributes toward a biblical foundation essential to the spiritual growth and maturity of the believer in Messiah Jesus.

Again, the next day, John stood with two of his disciples. And looking at Jesus as He walked, he said, “Behold the Lamb of God!” The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. Then Jesus turned, and seeing them following, said to them, “What do you seek?”

They said to Him, “Rabbi” (which is to say, when translated, Teacher), “where are You staying?” He said to them, Come and See.” They came and saw where He was staying, and remained with Him that day (now it was about the tenth hour). — John 1:35-39

A desired result of this systematic study is an increasing ability of the disciple to both demonstrate with their lives and give witness through their words the truth of the transforming power of The Living Word of God.

Studies & Quizzes

The Studies & Quizzes page features a columnar matrix with organized links to all fifty Messianic Bible Studies in several digital formats, and all for free personal study:

PDF – Click to load the study into your Adobe Acrobat Reader software. These written studies (manuscripts) were transcribed nearly verbatim from the original radio broadcasts by Dr. Fruchtenbaum. Optionally, you may print out the studies and then use to take notes on (there's a “built-in” notes column) as you listen along to Dr. Fruchtenbaum's audio lessons.

MP3 – Click to load an “iTunes-like” popup flash audio player. Dr. Fruchtenbaum's audio lecture series will begin playing after a momentary load time. You must have broadband internet access for the audio to playback properly. Each lecture series is made up of separate (approximately 12 minute long) audio tracks. The smallest study is one track, and the largest is fifteen tracks. Most studies are five to ten tracks. The MP3 PLAYER allows you to play, pause, or change tracks (double-click listed tracks, Part 01, 02, etc. OR click the track change buttons). A slider bar allows you to move about within a track to play or replay any portion.

PODCAST – Click to generate a “RSS FEED” and download the lecture series in MP3 format using iTunes or similar aggregator-catcher program. Then sync the audio studies to your iPod or MP3 player device for offline study.

QUIZ – Take the online interactive practice quizzes to gauge your level of retention of the material. The results of these quizzes are completely private and designed solely to help you master the studies. Each quiz provides a score upon completion and allows you to review the correct answers to any questions you may have missed. Take the practice quizzes as many times as you like... it is the very best way to get ready for the final exams!

Final Exams

After completing each grouping of Come and See studies – either online for free via the Studies & Quizzes page, or the newly available Paperback and eBooks formats – we encourage you to complete your learning journey and take the associated final exam located on the Final Exams page.

Each final exam consists of a representative subset of questions selected randomly from the total number of corresponding practice quiz questions. Before taking the exam, it is recommended that you first take all of the related quizzes to review and confirm your knowledge of the material. There is no set time limit, but please allow yourself approximately one uninterrupted hour to complete the final exam.

Each final exam will ask you to login with your email address and name before allowing you to start. Be sure to input this required personal information accurately so we can respond to you. After completing each exam, your results will be automatically emailed to our home office for evaluation. If you pass with an 80% or above score, you will receive a magnificent certificate of completion suitable for framing that is signed personally by Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum.

Paperback and Ebook Formats

Good news for those of you who prefer to study offline. We are currently in the process of publishing Come and See in both Paperback and eBook formats (.mobi and .epub) for your eReader. These will be released sequentially as a multi-volume series of logically grouped study collections.

“So when they got out on the land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid on it, and bread.” Yeshua said to them, “Bring some of the fish which you have just caught.” Shim`on Rock went up, and drew the net to land, full of great fish, one hundred fifty-three; and even though there were so many, the net wasn't torn. Yeshua said to them, “Come and eat breakfast.” None of the talmidim dared inquire of him, “Who are you?” knowing that it was the Lord. Then Yeshua came and took the bread, gave it to them, and the fish likewise. This is now the third time that Yeshua was revealed to his talmidim, after he had risen from the dead.” John 21:9-14
