Why
is it that in the context of Romans 2:9-10 – to the Jew first –
both good and bad things are included?
As
to why both good and bad come to the Jew first, it is because Israel
is in a covenant relationship with God. And it is the only nation which
is a covenant nation. Hence, when God gives forth blessings, they go to
the Jew first and also to the Greek. Likewise, when God gives forth
curses, these also go to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
